A couple of weeks ago I posted a question trying to find someone who could cut / drill holes in glass but I did not have much success finding anyone.
I have now found someone who can do this and he will come to your place to do it.
So if anyone else needs this done his contact details are: Peter Blythe, Phone 9402 2887, hope this is of help to others. Spin smile.gif

Always best to phone, as prices may vary depending on what you want and where you are.

Thanks Nick for the two holes in my tank, came out perfect. deffinately get you to do more in the future

P.S. anyone reading this... the glass shop down the road couldnt cut the holes for me at all, but Nick drove all the way to my place at Bedfordale and i ended up giving him extra $$ cause it was sooo cheap, the convieniance of him coming to my house, and the quality of the service(pretty quick).(really Good)

Thanks Nick

Not trying to be a downer here but are you insured Nick? If something goes wrong you don't want to be left standing with a bill for the cost of a tank.

Yes i am insured so if in the event of any breakage whatsoever there will be a full replacement of the tank......however in the last 12 months i have cut over 100 tanks without any breakage at all smile.gif

in the last week or so i have had heaps of PM's about the price of cutting holes in tanks...

Im offering a "MOBILE" service, i come to you, and i charge around $40 a hole depending on where you live and how many you want. that's pretty much the max price I'm not doing it for the cash I'm just offering help to any other enthusiasts smile.gif

*if your a pcs member we can work something out pricewise* smile.gif

Anyone done this recently? Have tried to touch base with Riggers but not heard back.

In particular want to drill into a side panel, is horizontal drilling workable? Or need to upend the tank to do vertically?

Also any way to know if I can safely remove the stiffener on an end panel (to allow for holes) without compromising integrity of the tank?
